Where are those birds going?2025
After talking about different species of birds and learning how to recognise and draw them, children aged 5 to 10 created their own blockprinting stamps and stamped a 5-metre piece of fabric with different migratory birds. The result: an immense sky full of flying birds. At the end of the week-long workshop in Instituto Cervantes, each child took home their own little piece of ‘sky’.
This concept emerged from Irene's exhibition Migraciones, held in July 2025, in which she screen-printed her own sky filled with geese.

Other patterns2024
Inspired by otomi fabrics from Mexico, another group of children printed this fabric in 2024. After the printing process, they used embroidery to add detail.
